***Sign-ups are now CLOSED***

Currently signed up: 7 Santas

ETA: AO3 now notes that the mods do have access to your email. As always, I will only reach out if you have missed a deadline, broke a rule or for those who sign up as backup Santas, if there is an assignment available (in 5 years of running this Secret Santa challenge, I've had two drop-outs where I emailed back-up Santas, and one person who broke a rule so my emailing people is rare). And of course, if you email me with a question, I will respond. I will not reach out to you for any non-challenge reason, unless we already correspond. Also, please note, the AO3 software will auto-send your assignment when available, and will notify you when the authors are revealed.

Please note that this challenge as a specific due date and go-live date. You will need to be able to work within this schedule. If you find you cannot fulfill your story, please contact jacieleigh (at) gmail (dot) com ASAP so a backup Santa can be assigned.

Please read through the instructions and feel free to ask if you have any questions. As small as the challenge is likely to be this year, we are not requiring that you write the pairing as romantic. Santas are expected to feature the requested pairing in the story whether written as Gen, Het, Slash or Multi (contains both Slash and Het pairings). Recipients are required to choose a minimum of two pairings and may also choose "any".

Just for the record, there is still no Alex Quinn tag available. If you would like her as a character in your story, you may note that in your request and/or your Dear Santa letter.

Here is the list of characters that you can type in (if they do not appear in the dropdown list):
Abby Sciuto, Anthony DiNozzo, Anthony DiNozzo Sr., Caitlin Todd, Clayton Reeves, Delilah Fielding, Ducky Mallard, Ellie Bishop, Jackson Gibbs, Jaqueline Sloane, Jenny Shepard, Jethro Gibbs, Jimmy Palmer, Kasie Hines, Leon Vance, Nick Torres, Timothy McGee, Tobias Fornell, Tom Morrow, Trent Kort, Ziva David

I appreciate those who participated in this year's pairings vote.

The pairings chosen by poll to be included are:

Returning Pairings:
Gibbs/DiNozzo
Gibbs/Fornell
DiNozzo/McGee
DiNozzo/Jimmy Palmer
DiNozzo/Kort
McGee/Abby

We are not limiting you to the number of requests you can make, you are only limited by the number of characters AO3 will allow. Please be sure to number your requests.

You can stop at one general request. If you would like to make additional requests, the first 2 requests should be general. After that, you may make specific requests. You must have more general requests than specific requests (2 general, 1 specific or 3 general, 2 specific, etc).

General requests should be something short (1-2 words or a short sentence), such as: bar scene; historical AU; hurt/comfort; Tim and Tony go on vacation together; case fic involving the FBI; etc. If a request is longer than one sentence, I would likely consider it a specific request. If it reads like a detailed story summary, it is definitely a specific request. Santas are not allowed to contact their recipients about their story requests. If you have questions, feel free to contact me at jacieleigh (at) gmail (dot) com.

Sign-ups and matching will be done through AO3 so you will need an AO3 account to participate as a Santa or backup Santa. If you do not have an account, please comment with your email address and the mods will ask AO3 for an invite for you.

Please watch the communities for additional posts for backup Santas, Dear Santa letters as well as beta/cheerleader posts.

Please spread the word!
